St James Parish and a COVID Update – Updated 31 July/01 Aug

St James Parish and a COVID Update – Updated 31 July/01 Aug

Following the recent easing of restrictions, Masses at St James allow for a limit of 100 people.

Attending Mass at St James: On Mondays we will have a Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion at 9am and on Tuesdays-Saturdays we will have Daily Mass at 9am. No bookings for these are necessary. Weekend Masses will be on: Saturday 5:00pm, 6:30pm; Sunday 7:30am, 9:00am, 10:30am, 5:00pm and 6:30pm. (Please note added Mass times.)

Attendance at Weekend Masses is strictly by booking to book please go to: https://www.trybooking.com/BJPOT.

We understand the frustrations experienced by so many people who were unable to attend Mass in person this weekend. Parishioners are encouraged to keep checking the Trybooking site as extra seats become available either through cancellations or if the government increases the cap on the number of people allowed to attend religious services. People who have a booking but cannot attend for whatever reason are requested to let the office know so the booking can be freed up for someone else.

Following Mass from Your Home: You can also follow our Masses on the Parish Facebook and YouTube channels. Weekday Masses will continue to be live streamed at 9:00am and Sunday Mass at 6:30pm on Saturday.

Next Update: The current set of restrictions will next be updated after the 07/08 weekend. Our booking system and capacity numbers will be updated based on any updated restriction announcements during that week, please check the Parish Website, particularly on Wed 11 Aug.
